Your
web site will contain database links that bring the shopping cart to life
seamlessly within your web site, complete with a secure check out area.
TO
ADD AN ITEM TO YOUR STORE
Go to your Page-Secure Store manager with your web browser using the link
above and log in.
Add items to your store by typing in the form fields provided. You can
view, modify, search and delete items using the store manager. Important:
If your store is to include images, you can use the image upload tool.
It is important to properly name the image exactly as it is uploaded when
you add the item. The image name is also case sensitive. If after loading
a product and image to your store, you don't see the image, you can modify
the item record in the store manager.
In addition to your products being displayed from items in your database
using the links provided, you may also add html to your web pages, as
well as a "search engine" so visitors may search your store's
database. This is useful if you run a weekly special, and wish to add
it to your pages. Information on adding "add to cart html" to
your pages can be found by clicking the link above titled "Your
Customized Help Page".
YOUR
STORE MANAGER
Your store manager has the following product categories: cat1, cat2, cat3,
cat4
These categories are accessed by links you will place in your web pages.
Once
you access your store manager, you will see the Main Menu page, which
contains the image upload panel (if applicable) as well as the following
links:

These links access different areas of your store manager.
Hypothetical
Product Addition
1. Go to your log in page by clicking "Your
Store Manager"
2. To upload an image, click "Browse" to locate the image on your hard
drive. (4 images can be uploaded at 1 time)
3. Note (copy and paste) the image name
4. Click "Upload File" to transfer the image from your computer to your
page-secure image directory.
5. Click "Back" on your browser
6. Click "Add" at bottom of page to enter new item information.
7. Enter or paste the image name in the image field.
8. Complete the form describing your product (this is what your customers
will see)
9. If you also have a Large image you would like your customers to see,
you may create a link to it by inserting both image names, separated by
two colons as follows "::". Example: smallimage.gif::largeimage.gif.
Advanced Features
Misc1 & Misc2 Fields: Items you offer may require that a customer
choose a color, or size. By pasting some special text in the Misc fields
in your store manager, you may create check boxes, radio buttons, text
buttons and even drop down windows with your database generated pages.
Additionally, you can add to the base price of an item when using check
boxes, radio buttons etc. by placing a "+" sign in from of the
price as shown in the example below.

Shipping
Note: There is a ship code field in the database manager. Entering the
weight of your item will multiply the weight against the default shipping
costs. If the shipping costs are not accurate, please provide us with
your actual shipping costs and we will make adjustments for you.
Testing
Your Shopping Cart
It is suggested that you test your site once you've added products to
your store. This way you can see how the pages will interact with your
customers, and make shipping charge adjustments if necessary. To do this,
you will need a VISA number. We have a Fake/Dummy VISA for use to test
your cart. It is as follows:
